LEGO Education WeDo

LEGO Education WeDo is a science and engineering learning experience designed for children aged 6 to 10. Developed by the LEGO Company, WeDo teaches kids how to build and program simple robots using LEGO bricks and a user-friendly software interface.

With WeDo, children learn STEM concepts through hands-on, project-based learning. The software interface is designed for young learners, allowing them to easily drag and drop pre-built programming blocks to create sequences. These blocks provide a visual representation of coding concepts, such as loops, conditionals, and variables.

WeDo sets also come with curriculum materials that include lesson plans, teacher guides, and student worksheets. These resources provide guidance for teachers and parents in delivering instruction for their child’s development in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

WeDo sets contain motorized LEGO bricks and sensors that can detect motion, proximity, and color. Children can build robots with these parts to solve fun tasks such as maneuvering through an obstacle course or reacting to light sensors.
